Children pain comic (CPC)

To identify and the exact determination of pain is in most cases not easy, because smal children have problems to describe where the pain is coming from, how it feels like and how intensive it is. Moreover, they only have implicite ideas of the accompanying symptoms or pandering factors. This is why it is sometimes difficult to use classic, paper pencil questionnaires. To solve this problem, we develope the children pain comic (CPC) for children over 5 years, which supports the information transfer by child-oriented pictures.
 

There is also an associated parent version of the commic to compare the child anwears and to get additionally data. The first child and parentgroup already tested the children pain comic and rated the handling as consistently good to very good. Now, the comparison (validation) shell be done with another diagnostic agent. By doing so, it shell be proven that you can reliable capture the child pain through the children pain comic.
